on solitude

ive experienced several types of solitude those which i have oficially enjoyed and those who have been quite destructive to my emotional being. In any cases i DO HOWEVER highly recommend not to listen to radiohead in the destructive phase. In a smally dingy yellowish room in a town called sta. barbara doeste sao paulo i experienced my first real dose of destructive solitude whilst listening to high and dry, and the result was quite surprisingly productive in the sense that four incredible drawings were produced. those sad sad drawings are not great from a tecnique point of view and yet convey the darkness of themoment, in another ocasion i will scan them for you.

other solitudes have brought me meditation and peace and wind that make my long earrings tinkle like bells as i rode my bike whilst i smiled a lonely happy smile.

i have seen a friend cry amidst a 12 people table of smiling friends to celebrate her birthday and yet she wept beacuse she felt lonely.

so strange so strange and yet so human
